Calendar Production Manager( or small Team) for 2010 DoggieRescue is looking for someone, or a team, to manage the 2011 calendar production for DoggieRescue. This is DoggieRescue’s the largest single fundraiser and therefore of significant importance. Work commences with the DR Calendar Contest in January 2010 and to organise the production thereof in conjunction with Graphics and Printing Team. The duties include: An infrastructure already exists and relevant information will be supplied to assist. The applicant(s) should possess good liaison skills, as well as follow through abilities. Would suit someone with part-time work or work from home with own computer. Computer is essential for work traffic with Graphics Production team. Join our roster on a regular day to suit you. You must be over 18 years old, have experience with dogs, excellent dog-handling skills, and an understanding of dog behaviour. You should be able to remain calm under pressure (it is like being on playground duty with a bunch of unruly kids, some who like to scrap, and need a firm but kind hand to keep them in line). You will feed them, cuddle and calm the new and nervous ones, give them loads of love and generally keep the peace! You should be fit, able to bend/lift, and willing to do general housekeeping to keep the place looking good! We wash about 15 loads of washing each day. You can pick up washing, take it home and bring it back folded within a week. You can take as little or as much as you like. Alternatively, you could assist us in our laundry facilities on a rostered basis. If you are taking washing you can take as little or as much as you like as long as its returned within the week. Hydrobath as well as dog shower facilities are available. You will assist one of our experienced kennel hands and/or groomers with this work. Food Preparation - Monthly Friday Mornings in the Ingleside Area Dog Walkers & Cuddlers No need to call! Rabbit & Guinea Pig Carers We need bunny and guinea pig volunteers, preferably local to the northern beaches to help care for our rescued rabbits and guinea pigs. We need help with cleaning on a weekly/fortnightly basis and help with collecting fresh veggies for them. The work involves cleaning bunny hutches and feeding, playing and cuddling the animals.Sometimes we have up to 15 rabbits. Poster People Takes almost no time at all! Under 18?
